I did not realise that maintaining an aircraft would be so very expensive. I guess I should have thought about it before I bought a second hand one really but it just didn’t occur to me. I always seem to be having to do something to repair it or maintain it. The other day I had to replace one of the aircraft wheel parts and although it was only small it cost a lot of money. Of course to do the job I needed aircraft jacks as well so that again cost money, but at least I suppose I will be able to use those again.
I guess there is not a huge market for these things so that could explain the cost and maybe people with planes are expected to have lots of money but even if we have loads it does not mean that we want to spend it all! I really wish there was a cheaper place to buy quality aircraft air tools but I guess in this time of recession all of the prices are rising on everything so I cannot expect miracles but it would be nice if I needed parts when there was a sale on!
