I am looking at buying some mobile phone accessories for my parents soon. They have at last managed to get themselves a phone which they know how to switch on and can afford to make calls with! It is a bit of a breakthrough with them and so I think that it is time to get them some things for it. I have been looking at cell phone cases as I know that they have been meaning to get one and they have a limited budget so it will be nice to get them something which is a nice leather that will make their phone look really good. I know that they worry about appearances and they would rather that their phone looked a bit more classy which I think the right case could do for them. I am also wondering whether to get them a couple of cell phone chargers as it is always useful to have a spare as they are easily lost. I may get them a car charger too as they spend a lot of time in the car. I will take a look around and then decide what I think will suit them the best.

Sunday, August 9th, 2009Spanx and Kettler Tricycles
Wednesday, July 8th, 2009It is amazing what a difference underwear can make to an outfit. I bought an outfit for a wedding and then when I got it home I was rather disappointed in how it looked, I felt like it was showing my worst bits of fat! I didn’t like to take it back and I knew that it was smart and suitable for the occasion which is why I bought it. I did not have long until the wedding any way and so changing itw oudl mean hardly any time to find a replacement.
I decided that I might be better off with some shape wear and so I bought some Spanx underwear as a friend of mine had recommended it. It made an amazing difference and it turned an outfit which I had fallen out of love with into something that I felt stunning in. I just have to make sure that I look after the underwear as I have a son who enjoys grabbing bras and tying them to the back of his brothers Kettler tricycles so that they fly out like flags when they peddle along. It is funny, but now my underwear feels and looks so great I do not want them getting hold of it!

Radio controlled trucks and cars
Wednesday, September 10th, 2008Since 30 years the market of RC trucks has been used. From the rock layer of yesterday’s restricted choice battery power-driven trucks has been discovered a better and much more powerful range of vehicles. While the original battery motorized electrics rule overall sales even now, the performance marketplace of gas powered RC has been initiated for those inadequate control, velocity, variety, and power. A radio-controlled truck is nothing but a powered motor driven from a span a radio control system. Inputs are sent from joysticks on a transmitter to the car’s inbuilt receiver. The radio signals are interpreted by the receiver and sent to the electrical pulses to the servo and electronic speed controller, making the model to rotate its wheels and the motor work.
Radio-controlled cars can range from simple playing toys to competitive and aggressive racing models, which mark all the complexity, difficulty and adjustability of their full-scale, other parts. Constructing, driving, and incorporating changes in radio-controlled car kits is a popular pastime now a days. Gas RC cars are the gasoline powered vehicles that run on already gasoline and oil. They are much costlier than nitro and electric powered cars. They are also much better and superior and therefore need much more space to run.

Irish 1988 coins?
Thursday, June 5th, 2008Does anyone know where I can buy an Irish coin dated 1988?
Try this eBay search:
http://search-desc.ebay.com/search/searc…
This searches for auctions containing the date 1988 and either of two words - “Ireland” or “Irish” - within the Coins & Paper Money category. Of note, it searches for these words within the full text of auction listings, not just in their titles.
That search will cast a wider net that may give you more purchase opportunities. You’ll still need to read the auction listings carefully to see if the 1988 coin(s) are from Ireland, as some of the ‘hits’ from this broader search are mixed lots from several countries, and thus the 1988 coins in those lots could be from other countries, as well.
This search brought up one lot sold by a US buyer that appears to be relevant to your request, as it includes a 1988 20 Pence coin (a moderately large nickel-bronze coin bearing the picture of a horse):
http://cgi.ebay.com/Group-of-8-Old-Irela…
The Standard Catalog of World Coins notes that in 1988, Ireland minted three coins for general circulation: 1 Pence, 20 Pence, and 50 Pence, plus a commemorative 50 Pence coin. The first three are all very common, as they had large mintages, so you’re in luck - they should be widely available and at low cost. If for some reason the auction above isn’t what you’re interested in, it may just be a matter of patience, continuing to check eBay every few days or so until you find what you’re looking for.
Also, as an aside, postage costs from Ireland or the UK to the US are often similar to, or not much higher than, the costs charged by US buyers. And if you’re paying via PayPal, there’s no currency conversion hassle - PayPal will automatically convert US Dollars to Euros (for Irish sellers) or Pounds (for UK sellers) on your behalf. Generally, the seller is dinged for any currency conversion costs, not the buyer.
Finally, some coin dealers that do business over the Internet maintain fixed listings of foreign coins from their inventory. If you haven’t already done so, you might try a search on one of the major Internet search engines, such as Yahoo! or Google. (I’m guessing you’ve likely already done that, but if not, it’s also worth a try …)
